Dear Parents and Carers,
Today the Admin Team met with our Sport Specialists and reviewed the forecast for Friday 30 August, taking into consideration Thursday’s predicted heavy rainfall.
As it currently stands, the weather is not looking good for a safe, enjoyable school carnival due to forecast rain (on top of an already sodden field) and strong winds.
The weather for Monday 2 September is currently forecast to be sunny, calm and 25 degrees.
Safety for students is paramount at Tuart Hill Primary School.
Therefore, the decision has been made to postpone the Faction Athletics Carnival from Friday to Monday 2 September 2024, meeting as usual at 8:30 am in classrooms
We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause you and your family; however, we feel strongly that a warm, calm, drier Athletics Carnival will make the event a safe and successful day.
