Goodmorning

Thank you to those that came along to Mrs Connolly’s NetSetGo Tuesday morning sport last week. I enjoyed meeting some of the parents and explaining how NetSetGo works. I would like to get information out early for those who have children (boys and girls), that are interested in joining a NetSetGo winter netball team for 2025. We are hoping to have the following teams next year and will require at least 8 players to be able to register a team.

– Year 2 and year 3

– OR year 2/3 combined

– Year 4

NetSetGo is great netball competition that encourages children to learn the game as a whole and learn to work as part of a team. Tuart Hill is lucky to have a netball club that is run by parents, with training after school on school ground and the team’s playing competition through Perth Netball Association on a Thursday or Friday afternoon. (Matthews Netball Centre – Selby St Wembley).  This requires ongoing parental support, and like all kids sporting clubs relies on volunteers to coach/manage the teams. We’ve had 4 teams over the 2024 season (Year 2/3, year 4, year 5 and year 6) and we would love to see the club keep going.

Cost for the winter season – approx $260 – Kidspot vouchers can be used for those that are eligible.

Season runs – Term 2 – approx week 3 through to midterm 3.

Registrations start early 2025 for netball so I am trying to give everyone as much time as possible to have a think and plan ahead. I will put another call out early term 1 2025, but please get any questions to me or start having a chat amongst kids/parents about interest.

If you think your child would be keen to play in 2025, please email me on [email protected] with both your name and child’s name/year level in 2025 and I can keep you updated.

Thanks

Kate

Current coach of the year 4 and 5 netball teams.
