Dear Parents and Carers,
Interm Swimming for PP and Year One 2022
Interm Swimming is a school-based swimming program for children from Pre-primary to Year 6. It provides quality swimming lessons across the State to ensure children develop vital swimming and water safety skills. While experienced swimming teachers are provided by the Department of Education, parents / carers pay a fee to cover entry costs into the swimming venue.
In 2022 swimming lessons for students in PPA, PPB, PPC, Room 13, Room 14 and Room 15, will be held at Terry Tzyack Leisure Centre from Monday 7 November to Friday 18 November. Student will swim every day (10 lessons). Students will travel to Terry Tzyack pool via bus, accompanied by classroom teachers, who hold duty of care and are responsible for supporting appropriate student engagement.
Cost
There is a cost of $66 for these 10 lessons (which includes the daily entrance cost to Terry Tzyack and bus costs) and all students are expected to attend. Please contact Mrs Beverly Innes if you have any concerns or queries. Payment options are outlined on the attached permission slip.
Scanned and emailed completed documents are accepted. Parents requesting a hard copy of this information should email me [email protected] and I will ensure a hard copy is placed in your child’s bag. Please direct all questions and queries regarding Interm Swimming to this email address also.
