Dear Parent,
We would like to share an opportunity to participate in a Curtin University Student research survey aimed at parents of primary school children in the Perth Metropolitan region.
This study investigates family and community dietary habits, thoughts and feelings of parents regarding healthy and sustainable diets, their opinions on plant-based meals in primary school canteens and perceptions towards such initiatives.
The online survey is expected to take less than 30 minutes to complete.
Within the survey there is an opportunity to express interest in participating in a follow up online focus group (1 hour) delving deeper into opinions on plant-based canteen initiatives.
Research of this sort has not been carried out in a Western Australian setting and will offer insight into parental opinion of healthy and sustainable school meal options. Data acquired is intended to be published.
