The P&C would like to thank all those that volunteered over our Election Day fundraiser on the weekend.
Big thanks to those that assisted with onion chopping Friday afternoon, worked on the stalls Saturday and those that donated goods for the bake stall. There were some exceptional volunteers that did multiple shifts, we couldn’t run these events without you…so THANK YOU. It was also lovely to see current and past students volunteering on Saturday.
An extra special mention must go to Chanaka Ranasinghe, Meenu Vitarana and their team, who organised and ran our Asian Food Stall. The time and effort put in to create delicious Sri Lankan curries was amazing, with 150 servings being sold on Saturday.
This fundraiser raised just over $4500 which is a fantastic effort. We are currently continuing to raise funds to further upgrade play equipment for the kids.
Our next event will be the school disco scheduled for end of term. Watch this space for more information around dates/times and how to volunteer.
