Dear Parents and Carers,
I am sorry to share that a parent’s car was broken into, and a bag was taken.
This happened at 4:45pm, last Thursday, as the parent parked in Cape Street to pick up their child from After School Care. A police report has been made.
The parent asks that I share this event as a reminder to make sure no valuables are left in your cars at any time, not even for the shortest school duck-in. Place bags in the boot, slide iPads under seats, take your wallet or handbag with you. Many of these events are crimes of opportunity.
Please keep this in mind.
